Porcelain veneers are an increasingly popular cosmetic procedure because of their simplicity, their affordability, and because they look great! A veneer is simply a thin sheet of porcelain that sits atop your existing teeth, immediately enhancing your smile.
What do porcelain veneers do?
- Create a uniform, white, beautiful smile
- Fix crooked or misshapen teeth
- Cover severely discolored or stained teeth
- Can be placed over teeth that are too small or large
- Fix uneven spaces between teeth
Getting porcelain veneers typically takes two visits. During the first visit, your tooth or teeth will be prepared by lightly buffing them to allow for a stronger bond to happen depending on the thickness of the veneer. We will then take a mold of your mouth so we can make your veneers blend seamlessly with the rest of your smile and fit perfectly. You can even choose the shade of the veneer. When your veneers are finished, we will make sure they fit properly and you are happy with the look of them. They will then be strongly secured into place, and you can walk out of the office with a new smile!
